Generator Electrical Engineer

Panalux Ltd is the Market Leader in the provision of lighting facilities to the Film and TV industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our small dedicated generator team who are responsible for the upkeep and development of our state of the art fleet of film industry silent generators.

Job summary
To be responsible for the planned maintenance and commissioning of diesel engines and generator control systems
To undertake standard service activity including minor diesel engine servicing
To carry out maintenance and inspection on a planned basis to manufacturer’s standards
To program PLC controls
To carry out electrical single and three phase repair
To be responsible for emergency breakdown repair and to attend breakdowns
Fault finding and rectification in both electrical and mechanical disciplines

Skills required
Thorough knowledge and experience of:
Electrical breakdown repair
Single and three phase electrical systems
Diesel engine and generator control systems
Standard service activity including minor diesel servicing
PLC programming experience of Comap and Deepsea or similar

Salary is based on a 40 hour spilt shift basis, salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
