Equipment Technician

This is a good opportunity for a reliable, self starting applicant with good communication skills to join our busy team responsible for the testing, maintenance and preparation of a wide range of modern lighting equipment. The role is a shift based position and all successful applicants will be introduced to our multiskilling programme to gain experience in all departments LED, Control, Specialist Lighting and more. Experience in the entertainment lighting industry or some electrical knowledge gained either through qualifications or experience would be an advantage.

Applicants should have a positive, flexible attitude to work and the ability to perform well under pressure in order to meet the demands of a busy, often unpredictable industry.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and are based on a forty hour week.

ACCOUNT MANAGER – RENTALS

Description

We have an excellent opportunity to join the Sales team of a leading lighting rental company supplying equipment to film, television, and commercial projects across Europe. The position is based at our London branch in our Rental Office.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who will procure new business and maintain on-going relationships with clients providing them with support, advice and information. In addition, they will manage customer accounts from initial telephone call, through negotiations and the provision of equipment, to the final approval of invoices.

We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who works well both individually and as part of a team. A positive, flexible attitude to work is required, as is the ability to work well under pressure.

Skills
  • A technical understanding of lighting products & the substitution of equipment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial as this is a principal part of the account handler’s day-to-day activities;
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel;
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve critical deadlines;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Diligent and attentive to detail.

Equipment Technician – Night shift

Working as part of a busy night shift team responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles and the preparation, testing and maintenance of an extensive range of modern lighting equipment and accessories, the successful candidate will be self-motivated with a positive, flexible attitude to work and will be required to work “hands on” throughout the night shift.
