We are looking for a knowledgeable self-starter for the vacancy in our Engineering department based in North West London. The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker who will work closely with the Repairs Supervisor and wider engineering team. They will be responsible for the purchasing and control of stock components and spare parts, as well as liaising with suppliers of all products to make sure they are delivered on time.

ACCOUNT MANAGER – RENTALS

Description

We have an excellent opportunity to join the Sales team of a leading lighting rental company supplying equipment to film, television, and commercial projects across Europe. The position is based at our London branch in our Rental Office.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who will procure new business and maintain on-going relationships with clients providing them with support, advice and information. In addition, they will manage customer accounts from initial telephone call, through negotiations and the provision of equipment, to the final approval of invoices.

We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who works well both individually and as part of a team. A positive, flexible attitude to work is required, as is the ability to work well under pressure.

We are seeking to recruit a knowledgeable, innovative thinking Product Development Technician for our Product Development department based in North West London. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the development and implementation of new products, and specifically engineered technical solutions. They will be providing practical technical support for all aspects of the Product Development department, including prototype builds (mechanical and electrical), testing, analysis and report writing. The role will include but will not be limited to a combination of mechanical, electronic, electromechancial, IT skills and support activities as required.

GENERATOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking to recruit a knowledgeable Generator Electrical Engineer for our Transport Department based in North West London. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the maintenance, service, repair and refurbishment of equipment and plant to the required standards of safety, functionality and presentation. They will be providing support to the Generator Manager to assist with the maintenance and modernisation of generator equipment to keep our fleet abreast of the latest technologies. The role will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Undertake generator and equipment rewires.
  • To undertake standard service activity including major and minor diesel servicing
  • Carry out maintenance and inspection on a planned basis to recommended standards
  • Attend breakdowns
  • Fault finding and rectification in both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines
  • To communicate effectively with colleagues on a regular basis
  • Support global and regional generator activities
  • Assist with procurement and design of new products or developments

Applicants are required to be electrically qualified to City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent, and testing and inspection qualified to City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent. It would be an advantage to hold a Driving Licence, LGV-C.

Experience in the entertainment lighting industry or some electrical knowledge gained either through qualifications or experience would be an advantage.

WAREHOUSEPERSON/DRIVER

We currently have an exciting Warehouseperson/Driver opportunity for our busy distribution department. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to work as part of a busy team.

An LGV Class C driving license is essential. Applicants should have at least one year’s experience working in an industrial transport/delivery environment and have good geographical knowledge of the London area.

In addition to being responsible for the reliable delivery and collection of a range of goods to/from locations throughout the London area and beyond, the successful candidate will also be required to carry out various warehouse activities, such as the loading and unloading of vehicles.

Based on a 40 hour week shift basis, with some rostered weekend working and overtime dependent upon business need. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.

Cardiff
LIGHTING, CAMERA, AND GRIP TECHNICIAN

There is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working and organised multi-tasker who can take on the challenges of testing, prepping, and maintaining equipment at the joint Cardiff office of Panalux and Panavision. The successful candidate will be an innovator and have a broad technical knowledge that spans lighting, cameras, and grip gear.

Reporting to the General Manager, they will work alongside other departments to ensure good equipment flow throughout the prep process. The technician will also collaborate with and support crews to deliver equipment in its best condition from ever-evolving product lists and tight deadlines.

EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN – NIGHT SHIFT

Working as part of a busy night shift team responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles and the preparation, testing and maintenance of an extensive range of modern lighting equipment and accessories, the successful candidate will be self-motivated with a positive, flexible attitude to work and will be required to work “hands on” throughout the night shift.
