Project info

Panalux worked with Director Paul Caslin and LD Gurdip Mahal to create an 'industrial' look and feel to the vast George Lucas Stage at Elstree Studios London for the Channel 4, T4 'Cheryl' Special.

Shot by DoP Ben Todd, the show featured Cheryl giving presenter Nick Grimshaw the low down on her new album 'A Million Lights'.

Using a combination of traditional and less conventional fixtures including X-Flex tubes and Atomic Strobes, the crew rigged a 360┬░ ring that framed Cheryl and her dancers as they performed tracks from the album, with a 10kW Panalux Fresnel providing a powerful backlight to the set.

'Call My Name' the first single taken from the album stormed stright into the charts at number one the following day!
